The Dashboard is your home screen. It shows today's sessions, highlights anything that needs your attention and gives you quick access to every part of the app.

Navigation

The bottom navigation bar has five icons (left to right): Transactions, Calendar, Dashboard, Client Manager and PT Profile. The bell icon (🔔) in the top-right corner opens your notifications.

Dashboard States

What you see on the Dashboard depends on where you are in your day.

No clients yet: an illustration and a "Match with a Client" button to get started.

No upcoming sessions: a rotating motivational message such as "Free day - get your own reps in?" or "Day is clear - time for your own workout?"

Upcoming sessions: a counter showing "There are X upcoming sessions today" with session cards listed in time order. Tap a session to display the QR code for starting the workout.

Active session: a session timer is displayed. All other sessions are non-interactive until the active workout is complete.

Session Cards

Each session card shows the client's name, scheduled time and workout focus. The workout focus displays in this order of priority:

  1. Template name (e.g. "Back & Biceps") if a template has been assigned.

  2. Body part (e.g. "Legs") if body parts have been selected.

  3. "Add focus in Calendar" in orange text if nothing has been assigned.

Note: The orange text is informational only. Tapping a today's session always opens the start session flow, not the edit screen.

Late Sessions

If a session passes its scheduled start time without being started, it appears at the top of the Dashboard in red. You must resolve all late sessions before other calendar functions become available.

To resolve a late session:

  1. Tap the late session on the Dashboard

  2. A bottom sheet opens with three options: Start Now, Reschedule or Cancel Session

  3. Choose an action to proceed.

Multiple Late Sessions

If you have more than one late session, resolve them one at a time. Start Now is only available when one late session remains. For the others, choose Reschedule or Cancel Session.

Missed Sessions from Previous Days

Sessions missed on previous days appear as a persistent dialog on the Dashboard. Other actions are greyed out until these are resolved.

To resolve a missed session:

  1. Tap the notification card on the Dashboard

  2. The Notifications screen opens showing all missed sessions

  3. Tap a missed session

  4. Choose Reschedule or Cancel Session (Start Now is disabled for past sessions).

Active Session with Late Session

If your current session runs over and the next session becomes late, the Dashboard shows both. The display order is:

  1. Previous day late sessions (must be resolved first)

  2. Active session (timer displayed)

  3. Late session(s) (informational while active session is running)

  4. Upcoming sessions (greyed out).

Complete your active session first, then resolve each late session before the Dashboard returns to normal.
